Spoelstra:

Spoelstra is a compulsive liar. Do not believe anything he tells you. Full of fancy talk, he is a manipulator of the worst kind. With his slick manners and social skills he has made a talent of getting anyone to trust him, seemingly without any real effort. One day, he will ask you to lend him some money. First it's just a small amount, but each time he asks you, he wants a little bit more, claiming it's for an investment in a new enterprise, something with dotcom. It's a sure shot, but investments have to be made right away. He keeps pushing you to go along, polite but very persistent, until finally you cave in. After having given him the money, you don't hear from him anymore. You try to call him, but he doesn't answer or disconnects the call. You send e-mails, but never get any reply. You send letters. Nothing. Turns out he is not registered on the address he gave you. He released two albums.

Using a guitar, a synthesizer, a sampler, a loopstation, a bunch of effects and/or perhaps other instruments and stuff, Spoelstra produces songs with elements from electro, country, sludge, noise and improvisation. Spoelstra is also guitarplayer and singer in Boutros Bubba and drummer in De Reizende Verkoper.

I specialize in live handmade slapstick electro, deranged country & western themesongs, noise escalation, improvisation and other incidents using two arms, two legs, a guitar, a synthesizer, a sampler, a loopstation, a microphone, a bunch of effects and/or perhaps other instruments and stuff, depending on what I find suitable or not for a particular occasion. For live gigs I do not use a computer or prerecorded parts and I make all my stuff on the spot, give or take a sample here and there. Stig Noise Formed in 1998 in North West England , for over 10 years making ever evolving, intense, DIY, noisy, folky, experimental, beaten-up-hook based music, both, Brutal(and/or) subtle in approach to delivering joyful noise in a live enviroment using large amounts of noise amoungst blatently traditional and structered methods of clearly childish songwriting. We have shared stages with loads of people we rate, played hundreds and hundreds of shows & Festivals in over 15 countries.. pure privlage. Ridiculas amounts of gigs....

We're called Divorce and we live in Glasgow.

Our names are Vickie McDonald, VSO, Jennie Fulk and Andy Brown.

We've been going since 2008 and played a load of great shows with sweet bands like ULTIMATE THRUSH, COMANECHI, DEERHOOF, CHILD ABUSE, PART CHIMP, MALE BONDING, CHROME HOOF and a load more.

We've released music on labels like NIGHT SCHOOL, GRAVY, OPTIMO MUSIC, WINNING SPERM PARTY, MILK and MEROK.
