Sofia Borges (Portugal) - studierte zunächst Schlagzeug und Perkussion am Nationalen Konservatorium sowie an der Luís Villas-Boas Jazz School. Als Perkussionistin entdeckte sie ihr Interesse für Volks- und Jazzmusik und ließ dieses in internationale CD-Produktionen mit einfließen. Sie spielte weltweit in Festivals wie Womad (U.K., Spanien, Australia, Neuseeland), Women’s Voices (Taiwan), Percpan (Brasilien).
Später widmete sie sich der Komposition und studierte zunächst an der Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa. 2012 schloss sie ihren Master in “Multimediale Komposition“ an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg ab. Die Bandbreite ihrer Kompositionen erstreckt sich von Kammer-, Orchester-und Vokalmusik bis hin zu Theater-, Tanz-und Multimediaperformances und Installationen und würden in Europa sowie USA gespielt.

Dag Magnus Narvesen (Norway) - is a drummer, percussionist and composer who mainly works within the field of improvised and contemporary music. He is among other bands active in the Stavanger-based Kitchen Orchestra, his own octet DAMANA, Schlippenbach/Narvesen duo and many more.

As an improviser, Narvesen approaches the drums with a very strong melodic and harmonic quality, and his playing can be described as energetic with different textures and phrases developing simultaneously. He also puts a strong emphasis on playing in the moment with an active and intent listening and creative solutions.

Narvesen has collaborated with many profiled musicians, among them: Evan Parker, Andrew D'angelo, Marilyn Crispell, Alexander von Schlippenbach, Alister Spence, Didrik Ingvaldsen, Johannes Bauer, Fredrik Ljungkvist to mention some.
