Exhibition

Lasse PassageMultitalented singer/songwriter and pop experimentalist Lasse Passage is touring Europe with his freshly released double 12” vinyl \'Stop Making Sense and Start Making Success\'. Through songs with a distinct sonic environment the subject of love is treated with black humor and cynic melancholia. A multi-layered musical journey that remains refreshing and highly accessible throughout. Lasse Passage will perform solo, though not sitting on a bar stool, silently weeping while holding on to his acoustic guitar - no way - he will be standing up straight, crooning into a guitar amp whilst using playback from a reel-to-reel tape machine. Up-tempo sentimentalism will be bundled with aesthetics of failure - questioning the role of authenticity in a genuine way. Bio: Lasse Passage is not a pseudonym, but parts of the real name of the Norwegian singer and songwriter Lasse Passage Nosted. In 2005 Lasse dropped out of art-school, took his guitar and a minimal amount of luggage and started traveling. This first lead him to USA where he did some solo-gigs in the mid-west. A coherent acoustic focus began to flourish. The hunger for travel new experience continued from USA to Latin-America, India, through remote islands in Oceania, to Australia and Asia. 2 years and 5 continents later he came back to Oslo with some beautiful songs in his luggage. Encouraged by his close friend and old school mate Jo Berger Myhre, they decided to record the songs together. Jo brought in the drummer Andreas Werliin from Wildbirds & Peacedrums and they recorded intensely a few days in Oslo. The producing and additional recording was done by Lasse and Jo in various people\'s apartments and bedrooms between the winter of 2007 and spring 2008. Some tracks from upcoming album (dbl. 12\' Vinyl) due to be released for the tour: For further listning: Audiolink:

Teresa Riemann [CANCELLED]Teresa Riemann was born in 1988 in Dachau, Germany. Sprung from the dark caves of the collective German subconsciousness, forging an outlet via the Berlin Noise scene, Berlin based musician, poetess and performance-artist Teresa Riemann explores, through her creative output, the darkness and even more-so the light, which can be found in the spaces we like to keep locked up far away from where anybody can see them. Playing drums, guitar, cello and piano, Teresa is also a vocalist. Her provocative and sometimes brutally unflinching exploration of all sides of life might make you sick, but in the process you will be coughing up the poison; you will feel better afterwards.
