channels, causing inevitable loss of information. Are we witnessing the dawn of a new Middle Ages?
INSTANT is a sound and image performance composed in real time, which explores sonic and visual worlds from glitch to noise-drones,
and that stimulates profound reflection on present-day society. The interaction between the two artists, as the result of continued efforts in the pursuit of the perfect combination between music and image, offers a strong example of balance, conscious uncertainty and evocation.

DANILO CASTI
Danilo Casti is an electroacustic musician and composer born in Cagliari (Sardinia island, Italy).
He's been present in the Italian electronic musicscene since 2000, starting his music career with hardcore punk, moving to noise-drone, glitch, acousmatic and electroacustic music. His music research ranges from experimental theatre, to contemporary dance, video and multimedia installation. He has collaborated with several artists such as Simone Lecca, Gregory Petitqueux, Manuel Carreras, Riccardo Mantelli, Alessandro Carboni, Lorenzo Tripodi e Ogino Knauss, Gustavo Costa, Henrique Fernandes, Georgios Sioros, Nella Turkki, Ana Dora Borges, Susana Oliveira, Patricia Cadaveira, Manu Alcaraz Clemente, I&D Ensemble di Porto, Maurizio Saiu, Andy Beuys, Matan Fridman, Manuel Lain, Laura Farneti, Mattia Pegna, Mario Massa, Walter Reis do Pinheiro, Naritaka Shimizu Pavla Beranova. He founded the theatre and dance group OOFFOURO with Alessandro Carboni.
Over the years he has developed an interest in real time composition methodologies, researching various performing possibilities applied not only to sound performance but also to dance and video.
He performed at various festivals of electronic music, theatre and dance such as Audio Art Krakow, Santarcangelo Festival, Crisalide Festival Forlì, Contemporanea Prato, Ipercorpo Rome, Fabbrica Europa Florence, Castle of Imagination Slupsk, Multiplace Zilina, SpazioMusica Cagliari, Signal Festival Cagliari, Zoom Festival Scandicci, Festival Internazionale Nuova Danza Milan, Inequilibrio Castiglioncello. He has been a guest in several creative residencies and has performed at events such as: Motorschiff Stubnitz (Amsterdam NL, Rostock DE), STEIM Amsterdam (NL), Arboreto Mondaino (IT), Cesta Tabor (CZ), BWAZG Zielona Gora (PL), NOD-ROXY Prague (CZ), Rozbrat Poznan (PL), Sonoscopia Porto (PT), Kollatino Underground Rome (IT), Teatro Studio Parco della Musica Rome (IT). In 2003 he organised the first edition of the festival EnToPan at the Foundry in London.

GIUSEPPE ALEDDA
Giuseppe Aledda, multi-instrumentalist musician, composer and arranger.
Long time passionate about several musical genres and styles, develops his research from classical music theory studies to technological contamination.
He has been part of the Sardinian independent folk-rock and electro-rock scene, as well as taking part in radical improvisation and experimental projects.
Together with Fabio Atzeni he founded the electro-rock project “Katzudoji”, dealing with the music production, electronic programming and stagecraft.
