Francesca, Pedro, Marcello, Ralfino, Voltina und Ehorst-die Familie Impronelli!Die Impronellis sind ein international gefeiertes Zirkus Spontanartistik- Theater der klassischen Schule. Das schillernde Ensemble verfügt über sorgfältig geschliffene, verblüffende Fähigkeiten in der Kunst des Theaters, der Musik, der Worte und der Taten - die es blitzschnell, komödiantisch und musikalisch, auf die Bühne zaubert.In ihren atemberaubenden, gefährlichen Darbietungen lassen sich die liebevoll vermummten Haudegen waghalsig von ihrem werten Publikuminspirieren: "Eben noch in Ihrem Kopf - jetzt auf dieser Bühne! Woppa!" Vor langer Zeit sind die Impronellis nach Frankreich gegangen um dort in einem Triumphzug ohne Gleichen die großen Zirkusse zu erobern. Als 2010 die französische Regierung sich von manchen Mitbewohnern trennen wollte, kamen die Impronellis wieder zurück in Ihre Wahlheimat Hamburg! Sie wagen einen glänzenden Neuanfang - aber das ist geheim! Im Haus73 in Hamburg laden sie seit kurzem regelmäßig am letzten Dienstag im Monat zum legendären Improsalon! Marlon McNeill, Guitar / Vocals average age? 30+ home? Basel, Switzerland earlier projects / history / collaborations? Born in London in the same year as punk did Marlon McNeill has lived in Basel, Switzerland, for many years. He's an autodidact and musically he has reached to various different styles as a member or guest in: Speck (Bass), Trencher (Vocals), I Was A King (Bass), Schorf (Samples, Vocals), Papiro (Electrical Organ), Klangklinik (Guitar), Acid Mother's Temple SWR (Bass). Under the moniker of Combineharvester (consistently misspelled) he staged his first appearance in 1998 by releasing the cassette «� trees in a field». Followed by «Retrospection» (2001, A Tree In A Field Records), «Mow Grass, Slit Throats, The Like» (2008, A Tree In A Field Records) and the River Sound Studio VII Kassette (2010 Six songs played on the acoustic guitar and recorded in an empty room). Besides some compilations and a split single with I Was A King. He has been running A Tree In A Field Records since 2001, on his own in the beginning, currently together with other friends and musicians. influence / ideology? «Some Ditty, A Mountain II» was originally written for the memorial gig of San Fadyl (friend and drummer of Brooklyn based Ladybug Transistor). This piece of music has evolved from a 15 minute piece solely for guitar to an epical 30 minute track for guitars, vocals and drums. It was recorded, using very little overdubs, in Basel, Switzerland, by Jari Altermatt (Navel) at 1000 Watts Studios and mastered by Alex Buess (16-17, God, The Bug, Ice). The idea was to create an non-drone. A drone, yet with a rhythm that again dissolves within itsself. A fairy-like choir and the ever multiplying wall of noise lay close by each other. It takes thirty minutes to reach the question: «What if there are no more questions?». After the crescendo and the answer «an avalanche of answers � washing them all away» we are left alone. Nothing. A depleted field. A question mark, or an invitation to sow new life. «Some Ditty, A Mountain II» is about forgetting and remembering. Even though there's not enough space on one side of a 12", vinyl has been chosen for aesthetic reasons.
