Melbourne's KINO MOTEL (Ed Fraser (Heads./Cash Savage and the Last Drinks) and Rosa Mercedes (Josephine Foster Band) bring a fusion of gritty pop and dusty beach goth vibes, emerged from a sweaty basement karaoke session in Vietnam. Debut album 'Visions' out April 26 via Beast Records, followed by a European tour.

A train that keeps on going, relentlessly quick and loud. This best describes the group of noise rockers from the Netherlands' harbor city, built around the songs of their incredible frontman-drummer. Fusing shrill, screaming guitar feedback with a primal bass, hypnotic drums, the group manages to find beauty in noise and simplicity. They've taken their brand of havoc to many venues and festivals in both the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium and central Europe including Left of the Dial, Sharpe Festival, and an EP release in Rotown Rotterdam. The band has already released two EP's, 'Television' and their latest “Texoprint”, their third EP is planned for April this year.

KINO MOTEL is the new Melbourne-based Grit Pop project from Ed Fraser (Heads./Cash Savage and the Last Drinks) and Rosa Mercedes (Josephine Foster Band). After meeting in a commune in Berlin, the duo deserted together and hit the road. Following a grimy and particularly sweaty basement karaoke session somewhere in Vietnam, KINO MOTEL was created. Named for the bar in which it was conceived, KINO MOTEL listeners can expect dusty melancholic gritty pop, with lots of oil and sand and road ahead.

KINO MOTEL will release their debut album VISIONS on April 26 via BEAST RECORDS. followed by tour dates in Europe throughout May and summer 2024.
