【MANISDRON】

The solo project by a Japan based producer Takafumi Okada (drummer of THE NOUP, goat).

Takafumi performs using drums, voice, synthesizers and creates the sound mixed Industrial, EBM, New Wave, Techno etc. He integrates solid beats into electronic texture and creates hypnotic grooves. Sometimes it feels like poly rhythmic, sometimes feels like hammer beat and these flow together streamlined in the live performance.

Additionally one of his characteristic is reading inconsistent words, it's an attempt for creating pseudo deja vu from fragments of language.

In the past, he self-released 2 EPs as CD and cassette, and an EP and LP from L.I.E.S. Records(NY).

Takafumi usually plays with his own band 'THE NOUP' as vocalist and drummer and runs his own label Cathodic Records. A background in Post Punk, EBM and Krautrock is apparent. Many events with various bands from hometown Okayama are organised.

Simultaneously he has also played with experimental rhythmic group 'goat' since 2017.

The PUTAN PLUB is intended as a resistance cell, characterized by a mode of doing (force actions in various places) very close to the first plots of European partisans during the last world war and today by opponents from all over the world. Resistance is organized by the archaic and immediate means of our century: electric voices and rumors, tanks and counted words, like saying from cave painting to the most daring conceptualism, from avant-rock to contemporary classical music more brutal techno/house, from the kiss on the mouth to the kick in the ass ...
