Afropollination aims to encapsulate the process of artistic and social cultural pollination, facilitating creative encounters between artists, genres, disciplines, identities, ideas, cultures, technologies, and communities from Cameroon, Congo, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Rwanda, South Africa, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, France and Germany. On the Stubnitz, the artists will collaborate in a second residency phase, exchanging their skills and styles and experimenting together.

Afropollination is a project lead by Piranha Arts (Berlin) in cooperation with Boutique Foundation / Nyege Nyege (Kampala).

AFROPOLLINATION

is an artistic collaboration between Germany and Africa. The project aims to encapsulate the process of artistic and social cultural pollination: facilitating the creative encounters between artists, genres, disciplines, identities, ideas, cultures, technologies and communities from various regions of Africa and Germany, taking and giving to and from one another, create new forms of expression and bring new inspirations, works and ideas to light while connecting to new audiences. The focus on Africa will lead both German and African artists to work on deconstructing existing hardware and software to re-appropriate and re-purpose them.

[sic]nal is an online radio and platform for contemporary music live from the bunker in Hamburg. It aims at building an community-oriented infrastructure for fostering and interconnecting artists and music professionals.
The Mission: Independent, online radio maintaining DIY enthusiasm with the quality of FM. Amplifying the sounds and all that Hamburg offers through a programme of music, talk shows and takeovers. Delivering a diverse and curated radio experience from a variety of cultural enthusiasts, DJs and musicians. Building a community-oriented infrastructure as starting point for new formats, mentorings and alliances. In which our present is inscribed and strengthening the musical communities behind them.

Electric Gym is a collective and party series based in Hamburg, with a focus on genre fluid bass music and electro. Fuelled by a boundless curiosity for diverse music genres, Electric Gym collaborates with esteemed labels like Mechatronica and invites talented Djs like Manao and Dangermami to create captivating music experiences and unforgettable nights of sonic exploration. Moreover, they proudly hold a residency at the renowned Golden Pudel Club, where they bring their electrifying energy to the dance floor.

SWAHILI SOUNDSYSTEM
is a team of DJs, producers, singers and musicians from Europe and Africa. They play different types of African dance music. The music consists of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Bongo Flava, Singeli, Kwaito, Champeta, Soca & Mbalax. They also play their own produced music like Dundo la umememe, which is a project of electronic beats overdubbed with live vocals & percussions.
