Program

Tante Tofu ist durch den Namen mit Frank Zappa verbunden (über den Album-Titel 'Uncle Meat'). Die Verwandtschaft zeigt sich nicht nur darin, dass Tante Tofu die Musik von Onkel Frank Zappa spielt. Auch die eigenen, deutschsprachigen Stücke machen weder vor dem Klischee noch vor der Grenzüberschreitung halt.

Mal klingt es nach Hardrock, mal nach Jazz, mal nach Pop, mal wird frei improvisiert.

Auf dem Zappa-Festival machte Tante Tofu mit den Programmen 'Carl Heinz' und 'Sauerkraut' von sich reden, wo die Musik jeweils in ein Bühnenspiel eingeflochten war.

Aber durch die präsentierte Genrevielfalt ist nie vorher klar, was auf einem Tante-Tofu-Konzert geboten wird. Alles ist möglich.

RADZ (feat. Artemov):

RADZ – is a project by Dmytro and Serhii Radzetskyi, with which the brothers have developed a completely original product.
Radzetskyi’s Brother is leader of modern Ukrainian experimental and avant-garde scene.
The professionalism of the musicians, the originality of creative thinking, the high quality of the music presentation and unexpected twists in music, words and actions on stage guarantee this band a bright, self-evident feature. The motto of the band is 'And why not?!'. With it the band manages to amaze the audience again and again.
The brothers have participated in many festivals in the Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Netherland, Great Britain, Israel and the USA. They have graduated from the Conservatory as classical musicians and won international competitions for performers and composers. They are creators of unique musical instruments, such as the 8- and 10-string MIDI RADZ guitar, which they successfully play at the concerts of all their projects. 
The projects of the two brothers are moving in the genres of contemporary music, jazz, rock, avant-garde, ambient, electronics and Musique Concrete. The musical versatility allows them to constantly change the musical style and the number of musicians - from one to 80 performers: the brothers are founders of the first 'Ukrainian Improvisers Orchestra' in Ukraine.
Dmytro and Serhii have been collaborating and performing on stage with the following musicians: «KING CRIMSON» (Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Markus Reuter), Phil Minton, Vyacheslav Ganelin, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Ed Mann & Denny Walley (Frank Zappa Band), Dan McCafferty (“Nazareth”), John Lawton (“Uriah Heep”), Graham Bonnet (“Alcatrazz”), “Bang On a Can All-Stars”, Fried Dahn (Ensemble Modern), Christopher Garcia (“The Grandmothers of Invention”), Ian “Jumpy” Jump (“The Muffin Men”).

Alexey Artemov – Percussionist, drummer, composer, producer, jeweler. Based in New York. He is an ardent improviser and has worked/played/studied with numerous genre-bending ensembles in the USA and abroad - Billy Martin, Amy Vachal, Talibah Safiya, Briggan Krauss, Alvaro Domene, Blaise Siwula, Paula Henderson (Burnt Sugar Arkestra), Lester St Louis (Spectrum NYC). Currently working with Bark (bark.mu), theatre productions in NYC (hamletmaschine.com), performing and building installation works during quarterly Paris and New York fashion weeks.
