A R T O is an electrified ensemble playing instrumental cinematic gloomscapes formed in Bologna in 2017 by members of Zeus!, Calibro35 and Settlefish.
Their debut album “Fantasma” was released in March 2018 by Offset Records and it's a ghostly trip featuring noisy guitars, blasting crescendos, dark ambient interludes and black metal explosions, with a taste for gloomy melodies and refined arrangements and textures.
They toured mostly in Italy sharing the stage with bands like Unsane, Melt Banana, Zu and Giardini Di Mirò. In April 2019 they toured in Europe with Daughters.
